The steering gear actuator includes power drive; two power units either of equal capacity, each ensuring specification characteristics of the steering gear; remote electrical control system; control and signalling switchboards (sound, light and alarm); starting equipment; rudder indicator; filling-and-draining unit of hydraulic system.

The control system provides "Automatic", "Follow-up" and "Non-follow-up" control modes.

At customer’s request, the supplier provides starting and adjusting works, training attending personnel as well as after-sale servicing of steering gears in operation and supply of necessary spare parts.
