Beam crane КБЭВ-1

Beam crane КБЭВ-1 designed for lowering a diving stage is used as a component part of lowering-lifting devices installed aboard naval and merchant ships of various purposes. The beam crane can also be used for auxiliary cargo handling operations on ships.

Beam crane КБЭВ-1 consists of the following components:

  • base;
  • slewing platform;
  • cargo hoisting mechanism;
  • slewing platform drive;
  • jib;
  • indicator of the cable amount paid out;
  • electric equipment.

The beam crane operates reliably and keeps its technical characteristics under the following operation conditions:

  • prolonged list up to 5º to either side;
  • trim up to 2°;
  • rolling with list up to 12° and period 5.4 s and more;
  • pitch with trim 3° and period 5 s and more;
  • ambient air temperature from minus 40 to plus 45 ºС;
  • relative air humidity up to 100%.

In stowed position the beam crane withstands rolling with list up to 40º and period 10 s and pitch with trim up to 10º and period 10 s.

The beam crane service life is 25 years.
