Electrical beam crane КБЭ-2,5

The combined beam crane of 2.5 t capacity is intended for launching and retrieving a boat, loading and unloading of cargoes as well as for dropping a boat by gravity when necessary.

The beam crane has the following main parts: stand, housing, jib, suspension, hoisting-lowering and slewing mechanisms, mechanism of hoisting height limiting, remote control, control station, magnetic controller.

The beam crane is designed in right and left versions and intended for mounting on ocean-going ships.

The beam crane secured for sea keeps serviceability after prolonged exposure to:

  • prolonged list up to 15° to any side;
  • trim up to 5° by the bow or the stern;
  • roll up to 40°;
  • pitch up to 10°;
  • ambient air temperature from minus 40 up to plus 50 °C;
  • air relative humidity of 98% at an ambient air temperature of plus 35 °C.

The beam crane provides launching and retrieving a boat with a crew at list up to 10º, trim up to 10º and speed up to 5 knots.
