Overhead ship crane КЭМ 20/5

Electrically operated overhead ship crane КЭМ 20/5 is designed for materials-handling mechanization of cargo displacement. The crane is installed in production areas of various purposes on ocean-going ships, auxiliary and engineering ships, floating bases, etc.

The crane component parts:

  1. bridge;
  2. crane traveling gear (2 pcs.);
  3. winch of hoisting mechanism (hoisting capacity - 5 t);
  4. winch of hoisting mechanism (hoisting capacity - 20 t);
  5. load trolley with suspensions (hoisting capacity - 20 and 5 t);
  6. load suspension (hoisting capacity - 20 t);
  7. load suspension (hoisting capacity - 5 t);
  8. movable operator’s cabin;
  9. flexible cable power supply;
  10. cabin movement drive.

Crane type – electrically operated overhead ship double-girder crane with frequency-regulated drives of main mechanisms and control from operator’s cabin with independent drive of movement.

In working condition, crane and auxiliary equipment provide reliable operation (with no time limit) during normal operation in the following modes: the highest values of rolling angle 4º and trim angle 1º, ambient (air) temperature from minus 10 to plus 45 ºС and relative humidity 98 % at the temperature of plus 25 ºС.

The crane and its units in stowed position ensure safe operation when prolonged disturbance is stopped: roll not more than 30º; rolling with 45º amplitude with period of 12 s; prolonged trim not more than 10º.

Speed control of functional movements – stepless with the use of frequency converters.

The crane can be supplied with a system providing positioning accuracy up to 7 mm.
