Electrohydraulic ship cargo cranes of 10; 12.5 and 25 t capacity

Full-swing deck-mounted hydraulic jib cranes КЭГ-10022, КЭГ-12518 and 2КЭГ-12518 are developed on the basis of КЭГ-8018 crane model, which has long-standing experience in production and operation of more than 2000 cranes.

Cranes feature high reliability, have stepless speed control of all their functional movements. All crane equipment is unitized in the wholly enclosed housing.

At customer’s request, cranes can be supplied as a single or twin make (two cranes on a common slewing platform).

Cranes are designed for handling general cargoes aboard ocean-going ships.

At customer’s request, the supplier provides starting-and-adjusting works, personnel training and after-sale servicing of cranes during the whole service life.

Service life is not less than 25 years.

Hoisting, luffing and slewing machinery – gearless, driven by low-speed high-torque hydraulic motors. Band brakes — normally closed, hydraulically released.

Jib – enclosed box-girder section.

Cabin – enclosed, with electric lighting. Access to cabin — by means of exterior ladder.

Hydraulic system – working pressure up to 17.5 MPa; cooling and heating system of working fluid; automatic warm-up system to keep the crane in readiness for starting at low ambient temperatures.

Power supply – power circuits 380 V, 50 Hz; lighting circuits 220 V, 50 Hz. Connection to ship’s mains — via slip ring collector.

Joint operation of two cranes is possible, if cranes are supplied completely with the common slewing base (platform). Joint operation of both cranes is controlled from the cabin of one crane (the leading one), which provides double capacity. Independent operation of either crane is also possible. In this case, each crane is controlled from its own cabin.
