Electrohydraulic cargo crane "Atlant" of 12.5 t capacity

Design of full-swing hydraulic jib cranes of КЭГ "Atlant" type is the result of long-standing experience in design, production and operation of ship cranes.

Cranes feature high velocities and stepless control of all their functional movements. All crane machinery is unitized in the wholly enclosed and heated housing.

Cranes are designed for cargo handling operations aboard the ships of various purpose: dry-cargo ships, container and timber ships as well as offshore platforms operated in various environmental conditions including the Arctic Ocean with ambient temperatures up to minus 45 °С.

At customer’s request, cranes can be equipped with hydraulically-driven and sealed suspended grabs and interchangeable scoops for bulk and timber cargoes.

The supplier can also provide starting and adjusting works and after-sale servicing during the crane whole service life.

The crane service life is not less than 25 years.

Hoisting, luffing and slewing machinery — gearless, driven by low-speed high-torque hydraulic motors. Band brakes — normally closed, hydraulically released.

Jib — enclosed box-girder section.

Cabin — flexibly mounted, heat-and-sound insulated, has a wide view of working area, comfortable driver’s chair and control desk. Access to cabin — through the under-crane bed plate and the crane body by interior ladders.

Hydraulic system — working pressure up to 17.5 MPa; cooling and heating system of working fluid; automatic warm-up system to keep the crane in readiness for starting at low ambient temperatures.

Power supply — power circuits 380 V, 50 Hz; lighting circuits 220 V, 50 Hz. Connection to the ship’s mains — via slip ring collector.
