Warping drum
The warping drum intended for installation on ocean-going ships serves for veering in a capron rope. It also can be used as a winch for hoisting and lowering a cargo up to 500 kg in mass by means of a steel rope to a height of 20 m.
Type of the warping drum: horizontally-mounted, motor-driven, two-speed, reversing.
The warping drum includes: warping drum proper (planetary reduction gear with a drum) in assembly with electric motor and disk brake, controller.
The warping drum with electric motor is secured to the ship`s foundation by means of a foundation frame.

The warping drum reliable operation is ensured at:
- dynamic list and trim up to ± 17º;
- any type of oscillating motions in stowed position.
The warping drum remains serviceable after prolonged action of the following factors:
- ambient air temperature from minus 40 to plus 50 ºC
- relative air humidity 98% at a temperature of plus 35 ºC, sea fog.
